Park "North sea" (Beihai) is located to the North of the Imperial Palace Museum in Beijing. Beihai or North sea, is one of the 6 lakes, which channels are connected with the Summer Palace. The residence was built near the banks of the Middle and South lakes, South of Beihai.

Many graceful bridges, gardens, pavilions and galleries includes Beihai and rebuilt in the Tibetan style pagoda. The landscapes and buildings of the Park, displaying magnificent architectural style and the unique art of Chinese traditional garden is a real masterpiece of landscape design.

Each part, which divided the Park has its own special atmosphere. The white marble bridge, also called bridge of Eternal tranquility - Yunanca leads from the South Bank to the island.

Bridge called Jiangzao - Directed to the hill connects the Eastern shore with the island. Buddhist temple (1651) and the White pagoda (Byte) of white limestone, erected in honor of the Dalai Lama is located in the middle of the jade Islands (Qinhuangdao). The pagoda is surrounded on all sides by connected to each other by galleries and pavilions. Lamaist Sutra and paraphernalia are kept inside the pagoda. A covered gallery runs along the North shore of jade island.

To the North side of Beihai lake and can be reached by boat from a Marina located here. Tourists have great fun exploring Beihai Park on a catamaran or a boat. You should visit it on a weekday, because it is a popular vacation spot among locals.
