Lijiang-NASSCOM Autonomous County, in South-Western part of China is located the old town of Lijiang, which is original authentic village fit into the overall flavor of Lijiang. The construction of the city began during the reign of the song dynasty in the 13th century, as evidenced by the architectural features of the buildings. The place for construction was chosen at the top of the Yunnan-Guizhou plateau at an altitude of 2400 meters above sea level. The total area of the city is about 4 kilometers, on which there are not only houses, but also the sights.

Currently, the city is home to more than 25 thousand people, most of whom are Naxi people. Most of the inhabitants are employed in the production of Souvenirs, textile and brewing products and trade in products of traditional crafts.
