The Chinese Museum of paleozoology is located in Beijing and accommodates more than 100,000 different pieces and exhibits on the history of botany, anthropology and paleontology. Some exhibits are quite usual which can be seen in every Museum of this kind, some of them very rare, and there are those that can be seen only in this Museum.

The Museum has a hall with prehistoric animals, where the skeletons of dinosaurs, their footprints, bones, eggs. Enjoynature, carnivorous animals that lived in the late Jurassic period is very large. Their length from the tail to the head was about 8 feet, and in height they were about 4 meters. Hadrosaurs - large grazing animals that lived later in the Cretaceous period. Their growth was about 5 meters and the body length is approximately 7 meters.

In the collection of prehistoric animals brought from abroad, there are ancient bird MoA (New Zealand), sloth (Australia), fish-Diman (Africa). Some of the exhibits presented in the form of stuffed animals. Also in the Museum there are the remains of ancient species that were found in different parts of China and abroad. All kinds that are presented in this section of the Museum, played an important role during the evolution of ancient fauna. Today they have very important scientific significance.

The Museum itself is divided into 4 sections: Department of Zoology, division of paleontology, Department of anthropology and Department of botany. All rooms offer the most modern projection equipment, and video.

In the hall of paleontology are 22-meter high representative of the prehistoric species mamenchisaurus, who lived about 140 million years ago. Also in this hall are flying reptiles, ichthyosaurs and pterosaurs - that is, all those animals that went extinct at the same time as the dinosaurs.

In the halls of Zoology and botany are the models showing the evolution of life on Earth across periods in a systematic way. Visitors can clearly see all the stages of development of life and the emergence of a large diversity of species that occurred over millions of years. Guests of the Museum are informed that many of the plants and animals that have made such a huge way of development, are now on the verge of extinction, and that environmental protection is one of the important tasks of man on Earth.
