Temple Dul translated from Chinese means "the Temple of solitary joy". Is this ancient landmark near the city of Tianjin and is one of the most valuable architectural buildings of China, the construction of which historians attribute to the X century, when it was the heyday of the Ming dynasty.

To this day preserved two of the building of the temple in its original form, namely the Shan gate and the Guanyin pavilion, which is considered a symbol of wisdom and compassion in Buddhism. In the center of the pavilion stands a statue of the goddess with a height of 16 meters, secured a small statuettes with the image of Buddha. The sculpture was installed during the reign of the Liao dynasty. Shan gate is a single-storey building with a height of 10 meters, divided by the wooden curtain rods. This part of the temple is a gateway into the main area of the complex.

It is worth noting that the main building of the temple was created according to unique technologies of wooden architecture. In addition, each detail of the Muzzle is made according to the canons of Feng Shui. Masters managed to create a unique building with numerous decorative elements that give the buildings a special touch. The Church has experienced approximately 30 major earthquakes, but it has slightly affected his appearance.

Today, Dul is visited not only by representatives of Buddhism, but also ordinary tourists wishing to get acquainted with the peculiarities of traditional Chinese culture and to penetrate into the secret depths of Buddhist philosophy. In the temple there are several gazebos and benches where you can relax after long excursions.
