The construction of the pagoda Cigana began in the period of Chinese history when the teachings of Feng Shui has received mass distribution, namely during the reign of Emperor Wanli, who belonged to the Ming dynasty. The base of the pagoda was laid in 1619 in Haizhu district of Guangzhou city.
