Bol - the city and the Bay in the southern part of the island of brač, are located in Dalmatia in front of the split. This is one of the most famous seaside resorts of the Adriatic. Bol is the most popular resort and is the oldest town on the island. Its inhabitants still engaged in farming, winemaking, fishing. Many of them work in tourism. The city has a total of 15 km of sandy and pebble beaches, stretching from Bay Martinican in the East to the blaca Cove in the West. The most famous beach of bol is called Zlatni Rat. This rocky promontory is thrown far into the sea. It is unique since every year it changes a bit its shape and location due to the winds and the sea currents. To it from the city center there is a beautiful walkway closed to vehicles. In the summer here too crowded.

Bol lies at the foot of Vidova mountain (778 m), which is the highest peak of the island of brac, but of all the Adriatic Islands of Croatia.
