Suđurađ is a small fishing village on the Eastern side of the island of šipan, one of two located here. Located on the opposite side of the town of Sipanska Luka Sudurad connects road, which runs regularly a bus. Reside here for about a hundred people.

Village is located in a small Bay, almost opposite the island of Lopud of the same settlement. During the day on the Bay runs a small excursion ships that bring tourists to Sipan from Dubrovnik and the nearby Islands. Tourists mostly come to view the castle, which is located in the village.

In the 16th century this building was a summer residence of a wealthy family of seafarers and merchants. The castle is now in private possession and inspection only possible on the outside, however, you can feel the spirit of history and admire the monumental medieval structure. Under the castle there is a restaurant in the style of the era of knights with heavy tables, wrought iron seats and candles.

If you take the road left from the castle, you can find well-preserved square tower, which is the Church. This is one of those FORTS-churches, many of which are located on the Islands of Dalmatia. On the hilltop above the Sudurad, offering the famous panoramic view, is the Church of the Holy Trinity.

In the village with long well-kept promenade, the water here is stunning purity, and the locals swimming right here, the stairs descending into the sea.
