Photos and description

The Museum building was built by the architects Lindgren, Gesellius and Saarinen and was an amazing representative of national romanticism, which is close to the style of "Jugend". The lobby of the building is decorated with frescoes on the motives of the Finnish epic "Kalevala". The Museum exposition tells about the history of the country from ancient times to the present day.
