The Museum of Aeronautics in the city of Kotka is located in the hangar of the airport Kymi next to the runway. Thanks to aeroclub “Karhula”, 15 presented in the Museum of aircraft, including rare ones, are in working condition.

Fighter “Gloucester Gauntlet” is the only airplane in the world during the Second world war, is fully operational and still flying several times a year. The collection also includes light attack, supersonic fighter-bomber, glider, miniature single helicopter and others.

Directly from the Museum, passing next to the runway, soar high small private planes. Near a monument to military pilots who died during the Second world war.

The Museum is open from may to September. Admission is free, however, donations are welcome for the maintenance and development of the Museum.
