In the heart of the Old town of Villefranche-sur-Mer is St. Michael's Church - a monument of history since 1990. The Church was built in the first half of the XIV century, but to this day it is preserved in the Baroque shape after it was rebuilt in the late XVIII century, before the beginning of the French revolution.

The decoration of the Church are the altar table for communion of marble, richly decorated altar, the organ is one of the oldest on the French Riviera, it was established in 1790 during the reconstruction of the Church. Another notable feature of the interior of the Church Saint-Michel called the sculpture of Christ crucified on the trunk of a Fig tree, which was created by the convict.
