Central Plaza is a 78-storey building with a height of 374 m Skyscraper was built in August 1992 at 18 harbour road, in WAN Chai. It is the third tallest in the city until 1996, the building was the tallest building in Asia.

Central Plaza is made in a triangular form at the base of the cylinder, on top of the tower are neon clocks that indicate time in 15-minute period. The top of the skyscraper is crowned by a mast with a height of 102 m, here in the atrium, is the highest Church in the world. Tower design two-component, separate the 368-metre office building and block of the podium at 30.5 meters. The main building contains 57 office floors, five intermediate floors of the halls for transplantation in high-speed elevators and other facilities.

The first level covers an area of approx. 90 000 sq. m., here you will find a landscaped garden with a fountain, trees and lanes made of artificial stone. No outlets or places for commercial purposes is not provided, because on this floor there are three pedestrian bridge linking rail, ferry and bus terminals, Mass Transit, Convention center and the China Resource building. Leaving these spaces for public use, the developers got 20% more space under construction in the form of a bonus.

Central Plaza is located in the heart of the commercial district overlooking the harbour. To maximize views of the nearby Bay, the building was designed facing the water one of the corners. With this design, two-thirds of the office space are panoramic Windows on the harbour, and the remaining part has a beautiful view of the mountains and surrounding city.
