On the site of the present Church building already in 1703, was a Church built in the years of Turkish oppression, which in 1727 was rebuilt. Then built is surrounded by a thick wall with simple pillars the architecture of the building with an onion-shaped dome on the tower and rich iconostasis. The iconostasis and external decoration of the Church are a late-Gothic creation, in which characteristics of Orthodox architecture mixed with mid - and Western European elements.
