Archbishop's Palace: photo description (Archbishop''s palace)

Archbishop's Palace of XV century located inside the walls Egerskogo castle to the North of the Basilica. It was destroyed in the second half of the 15th century and reconstructed in the 19th. Now it is art gallery and Museum of religious art Istvan Dobo, Hungarian military, famous in the heroic defense of Eger fortress against the Turkish troops in 1552, the exhibition which presents ancient Church utensils and religious objects. In addition, in the hall of the Museum you can see the coronation mantle of Austrian Empress Maria-Theresa of Habsburg. The Museum is one of the most visited institutions in the country - it hosts more than 400,000 visitors a year. The Palace itself has a small yard with trees and flowerbeds.
