A steam bath, so the locals call it, opened its gates September 6, 1896. It was designed by the architects by Antal Steinhardt and Adolf lang in eclectic style with features typical to the Turkish baths. This applies particularly to the domes and interior. Symmetric 117 metre long building was a popular place of leisure of citizens. Bath had baths, separate for women and men. In 1927, the artesian water supplied to the bath was replaced with water from the healing springs. After several renovations (the last was completed in 2004) bath offered its visitors therapeutic bath and Wellness. The first - popular among the older generation, the second preference for the young people. The courtyard, in which there is the atmosphere of the Mediterranean resorts in the summer is a stage for theatrical performances under the open sky.
