Castel Arquato - well preserved medieval town located on a hill among the hills of Val d Arda 15 km to the West of Fidenza and West of Parma. The hill on which stands the town, offers wonderful views of the valley of the Arda, so Castel Arquato is a great place to stay. The city, founded in Roman times, carefully preserved their monuments and memorials. In 10-13 th centuries it was a very prosperous settlement, and most of its buildings dated to this period.
