The Museum of civilization in Istria, Fiume and Dalmatia is a true monument to the culture that existed in these areas long before the formation of the modern political map of the world. The Museum exposition was created based on the objects acquired at different time - pieces of furniture pertaining to "Warehouse 18" in the old port (the famous the Italian singer Simone Cristicchi), various archaeological artifacts, works of art, documents, books, prints, drawings and photographs. A variety of multimedia tools help visitors of the Museum to become more closely acquainted with presented topics.

The Museum of civilization in Istria, Fiume and Dalmatia occupies three floors of the building in via Torino near Piazza UNITA d'italia. The first floor has reception area and two consulting terminal for digital archives. The second and third floors are devoted to exhibition halls, where visitors can learn about the history of these territories "lost" in the agricultural and Maritime region of Istria. Here you can take a trip through space and time to "meet" with artists, writers, musicians and artists who have dedicated themselves to the study and glorification of Istria, Fiume and Dalmatia, starting from the 18th century. A separate exhibition dedicated to the tragic events of the Second world war. The final exposition of the Museum tells the story of hundreds of thousands of refugees who live in exile in the exhibit hall, personal objects and documents taken them from him, and suitcases and boxes full of memories that they were forced to leave to start a new life.
