Thermal Park of Garda lake is located in the small town of Cola di Lazise in the province of Veneto. This is a unique place where there are all conditions for rest, relaxation, health care and even entertainment. She thermal water having a temperature in 37ºС, emerges from under ground from a depth of 160 meters and into an artificially created lake. It is extremely low mineral content and no chemical pollutants. Such characteristics make this water a great tool for prevention and treatment of various skin diseases.

But the Thermal Park of lake Garda is also a perfect place for a relaxing stroll among historic buildings, lush gardens. One of the most interesting buildings is the Villa of the Cedars, built in the late 18th century by the architect Luigi Canonica. During the Second World war it was the headquarters of German field Marshal Erwin Rommel. Villa Moscardo even more ancient - it dates from the 15th century. On its facade you can see a plaque commemorating the visit to these places of Emperor Charles V in April 1530. In addition, in the Park there are guest houses, stables, a magnificent orangery built from wrought iron in the second half of the 19th century and embellished the dome, and three caretaker's house, the main of which is made in the style of neo-Gothic.

The creators of the Park, probably had a family, Moscardi, bought this land in the mid-18th century. Their cause was continued by members of the noble family of Miniscalchi-Erizzo, who came from Venice and owned the Park since the late 18th century and until the beginning of the 20th century. They built a three-story neoclassical Villa of the Cedars. In the photo one Richard Lotze stored in the Museum of Miniscalchi in Verona, you can see rare pictures of the Park taken in 1860, the year.

In 1989, the new owners of the Cedars decided to dig a hole to create the irrigation system in an extensive Park. At a depth of 160 meters they were in for a surprise - the hot thermal springs rich in carbonic salts, calcium, magnesium, lithium and silicon. It was then that the idea of construction of artificial lake with an area of about 5 thousand square meters, in which the pumps could be pumping the thermal water. So there was a "Thermal Park of lake Garda". Under the ground features a network of pumps, total length of 6 km with 1400 injectors that bring water to different parts of the lake so that the temperature remains the same throughout the day. At the same time as the lake was built the grotto - it was originally served as a decorative element, but over time has become a real "hot" a Paradise for lovers of the delights of the flesh.
