Finalborgo, also known as Finale Borgo and Borgo di Finale - a town in Liguria, situated a couple of kilometres from the popular seaside resort of Finale Ligure. It can be reached even on foot directly from the beach of the resort - it won't take you more than an hour. Between these two settlements is a stark contrast, and the use of Finalborgo could be an interesting adventure for tourists staying in a noisy resort town.

In an old Finalborgo an ancient castle and some monuments of history, for which the town received the title of one of the most beautiful in Italy. It was founded around the 12th century as a fortified village in the hills, a time when raids of the Saracen pirates were common. In the old part of town has preserved its medieval walls, and a small square area in the center you can see different houses, some of which are painted in pastel colors. By the way, a huge number of painted houses and arches - a characteristic feature of Finalborgo.
