Originally it was a chapel of the order of Servico built outside of the second fortification wall of the city (1250). Modern appearance Church acquired in 1444-1481 the years, thanks to the efforts of such architects as Michelozzo, Panyo Portinari and Antonio Manetti. The portico of the facade is decorated with Corinthian columns. The interior of the Church was modified in the mid-seventeenth century.
