The castle of Levanto is an ancient defensive facility located in the southern part of the historical centre of the city. Once it was the part of the city walls of Levanto, a seaside resort on the Ligurian coast of Italy.

According to some historical documents, a fortress on the site of the present castle existed in the 12th century, during the rule of the Malaspina family. Castello di Levanto consists of four walls arranged in the shape of a quadrangle, and round towers.
