The Palace of peace and accord - a great pyramid, which is one of the main attractions of Astana. Located in Manas pyramid has become a real symbol of unity of different religions, cultures and ethnic groups, openness of the Kazakhstan people and state around the world. The initiator of creation of the pyramid was the President of the Republic Nursultan Nazarbayev. The project of the Palace was designed by renowned British architect Norman Robert foster. Work on the construction of the Palace ended in 2006, Its Grand opening took place in September of the same year and was accompanied by performances of the world Opera star Montserrat Caballe at the hall for concerts.

Biggest room in the Palace of peace and accord is a ballroom, with an area of over 2 thousand sq. m. It consists of four galleries and can accommodate up to 1 thousand people. The gallery presents the General plan of city development up to 2030 In the Center for contemporary art and the gallery of locals and visitors have the opportunity to see famous works of art. A truly delightful structure made of steel, aluminum and glass is striking in its originality and greatness, bewitching the audience. At night the dome is illuminated by stained glass.
