The ethno village is a unique place in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. The preserve is a living monument to the people of Kazakhstan.
It was built in the left Bank complex in 2010 enthusiasts-regional specialists in just 28 days. The total area of the reserve is 10 ha. the First visitor of this wonderful place became the first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The main aim of the ethnic village is to show the customs, traditions, rituals and lifestyle of the peoples living on the territory of the East Kazakhstan region. Each house recreates the atmosphere that existed here at that time when their people lived. The main place is given to the Kazakh and Russian buildings. They are located in the heart of the village.

The ethno-village has a street, consisting of 20 objects dates from the late XIX - mid XX century All the houses were recreated according to archival materials and scientific literature. In ethnovillage all correspond to historical realities: farmsteads, buildings, materials, clothing, household items. Basically this is all real exhibits, some of which are already more than 100 years. Thanks to them visitors have a great opportunity to get acquainted with the history, traditions and culture of his countrymen.

Central to the village takes a huge white Yurt, serving as a kind of meeting room, which hosts major events. A little further you can see one of the oldest types of dwellings the settled Kazakhs stone tosale. Very popular among visitors to the ethno village enjoys two story cottage, Russian peasant of the XX century.

Belarusian, Armenian, Tatar, Korean, Azerbaijani, Polish, German estates, the Chechen residential tower, the Jewish house, Ukrainian house and other buildings have a unique flavor. Consider them inside and out.

Every year on the unusual street of ethno village there are new and interesting objects.
