Park named after A. Pushkin Park of culture and recreation, which is located in the city of Aktobe in the street of Karasai Batyr. It was founded in 1887-1890, he the Name of A. S. Pushkin, the Park was awarded in 1937, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet, playwright and novelist. In the years of the USSR Park was the municipal cultural centre, which was attended by both locals and visiting guests.

Once in the Park operated two movie theaters. One of them was free, it was arranged showing the news chronicle and Soviet propaganda, and the second - paid, and was intended to feature films.

In 60-ies in the Park named after A. S. Pushkin appeared first rides, but because of the accident they were dismantled. In 1978 instead of the cinema at the initiative of the I. M. Klavinas was built a stage, which can be seen today. In 1979, the Park got new attractions and the first slot machines. In the 80-ies of the last century in the city of Aktobe there were still a few parks and cinemas, resulting in the Park named after Pushkin began gradually to lose its status as the city's cultural center.

Today, Aktobe Park named after A. S. Pushkin became less visited in comparison with the Park named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Monuments and fountain, located in the Park, fell into disrepair. Set in the years of the Soviet Union, the rides are obsolete and have become unfit for further use.

Now the Park named after A. S. Pushkin is used as a place for holding festive events.
