The Palace of art "Shabyt" is the largest and unique of its kind complex in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is located on the right Bank of the river in the new administrative center of Astana, near the building of the Congress hall. Near the Palace are other attractions of the city: the monument "Kazakh Ely", Palace of Independence, Museum of history of Kazakhstan and the Cathedral mosque "Hazret Sultan".

The opening of the Palace of creativity "Shabyt" took place in 2009, on the eve of the 10-year anniversary of the founding of the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Astana. Palace square is 30 sq. m. 450

"Shabyt" is a remarkable building that attracts the eye with its unusual shape and its interior. The Palace of art is made in the form of a cone with obliquely truncated. The bearing part of the structure has reinforced concrete structure and facades made of glass on a metal rack.

It is a multidisciplinary institution for all kinds of arts. On seven floors of the Palace are the University of arts of Kazakhstan with classrooms and lecture halls, a gym, two concert halls, two shooting pavilions, art and photography studios, a library and dance classes, as well as a huge function hall with a capacity of 4,500 people, meeting rooms, a cosy restaurant, hall of ceremonies, and a hall for press conferences. Altitude sports and auditoriums is 9 m, the total height of the rooms on the first floor of the Central block is 5.8 m and the rest of approximately 3.9 m Between the upper floor is the atrium. In monolithic work, the architects and builders used wall formwork system PRIMO.
