Holy Trinity Orthodox monastery, located in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk on the street Likharev, is the first male monastery in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The story of the Orthodox monastery began in June 1993, it was then that the decision of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on the basis of the restored Holy Trinity Church was founded Holy Trinity monastery. The solemn ceremony of consecration of the monastery took place in September 1993 in celebration of the Nativity of the blessed virgin. The first vicar of the monastery was appointed Abbot of Aristarchus (Hmirova).

Already since 1996, and in 2009, the Abbot of the monastery was the Abbot Plato (Devenco). Thanks to his care and stewardship efforts, as well as adequate labour of the parishioners, the monastery is completely transformed. During the governorship of Abbot Plato was renovated 2-storey fraternal body, where there is a monastic chapel (completely ruined the building of the soldiers ' barracks), built several outbuildings, renovated one-storey building of the fortress of the guardhouse, which at one time housed the Sunday school, and today - the diocesan warehouse. Also had put in order the whole territory of the monastery.

From 2009 to 2011 by the vicar of Holy Trinity Orthodox monastery was hegumen Mitrofan (Aces). Since may of 2011 and December of the same year performing the duties of a Viceroy was appointed Archimandrite Joseph (Eremenko). In 2012, the new vicar of the Orthodox monastery was Bishop Amphilochius, Bishop of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semipalatinsk.

Currently on the territory of the monastery are Holy Trinity Church and St. Andrew's Cathedral, in the building of the Bratsk monastery - a house Church in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh and St. Seraphim of Sarov.
